Contains a range of delicious ‘warm’ spices which help stimulate digestion, soothe everyday digestive disorders, and warm up the body when you are feeling cold. The spice ball can also help soothe chronic coughs, stuffy colds and clear the sinuses.
To aid digestion
Take one small pinch of the spice ball, before or after food, or add to cooking to spice up a dish. For example, add 1/2 teaspoonful to savoury dishes such as chicken cooked in coconut milk, to porridge, or add to milk and simmer with a little cardamom and nutmeg as a good night drink (add honey to taste).
To soothe colds
Put one tablespoon of honey, 1/4 teaspoon spice ball, a pinch of cayenne pepper and half a squeezed lemon in some warm water and drink every morning for three days to help soothe chronic coughs, colds and clear the sinuses.
Caution: If you have a ‘hot’ constitution, this may aggravate it when taken in large quantities.
